Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional consultants and Internal technical and Business to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and customize Odoo modules and workflows to meet client needs.
• Write efficient and high-quality Python code to implement new features, functionalities, and integrations within the Odoo framework.
• Perform Odoo ERP system configurations, including data migration, user access management, and security settings.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of Odoo modules and resolve any issues or bugs that arise.
• Work closely with the functional team to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions with business processes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and assist in resolving any technical issues or challenges.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest Odoo developments, tools, and best practices, and apply them to enhance the functionality and performance of Odoo systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, functional consultants, and other technical resources, to ensure successful implementation and delivery of Odoo projects.

Skills

• Solid experience as an Odoo Technical Resource, with a proven track record of working on multiple Odoo implementation projects.
• Proficient in Python programming language and familiar with the Odoo framework.
• Strong understanding of database management, particularly in PostgreSQL.
• Experience in customizing and extending Odoo modules using XML, JavaScript, and other related technologies.
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and design appropriate technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.
• Prior experience in ERP systems and familiarity with other related technologies (e.g., CRM, e-commerce) is preferred.
• Odoo technical certification or related certifications are a plus.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Supply Chain Management Consultant with deep, hands-on knowledge of cable and wire manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone who has felt the pain of operational inefficiencies, understands the limitations of traditional ERP/MRP systems, and is eager to implement modern tools like APS, MES, DDMRP, and IIoT to help cable manufacturers evolve.

You will be a key strategic partner in supporting the implementation of our CablePro ERP solution—built specifically for cable and wire manufacturing. Your role will bridge the gap between real-world manufacturing problems and smart digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and map end-to-end supply chain and production processes in cable & wire manufacturing environments.

• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and digital transformation opportunities across procurement, production planning, inventory, and shop floor control.

• Support the implementation of CablePro ERP, including modules like DDMRP-based planning, advanced production scheduling (APS), MES integration, and IIoT dashboards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product developers, business analysts, and implementation partners.

• Provide expert consulting to clients on change management, digital supply chain architecture, and performance KPIs.

Qualifications

• Deep domain expertise in cable and wire manufacturing—from raw material planning to extrusion, stranding, armoring, testing, and dispatch.

• Strong knowledge of modern supply chain management practices (Lean, DDMRP, APS, MES).

• Proven experience in management consulting or internal transformation roles within cable manufacturing companies.

• Understanding of real-world ERP challenges in cable manufacturing and passion for solving them.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with digital tools like SAP, Oracle, or other ERPs is a plus.

• Experience with IIoT platforms, digital twins, or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a bonus.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for all cable design matters: LV/MV/HV power cables and optical fiber cables.

Experience

• 15+ years of experience in cable & wire design engineering (both power and fiber optic cables).
• Strong understanding of materials, mechanical and electrical properties, derating factors, ampacity, etc.
• Experience with international standards and specifications (IEC, BS, UL, ICEA).
• Familiarity with cable design software or custom in-house tools is a plus.
• Strong communication and consulting skills. Fluent in English.

We are seeking an experienced Fiber Optic Cable Design Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for consulting, implementation, and technical support of CablePRO, with a focus on fiber optic cable design and manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert for fiber optic cable design, materials, and standards.

• Provide consultation to customers on optical fiber types, constructions, and industry practices.

• Lead and support the implementation of CablePRO software for fiber optic clients.

• Translate client requirements into effective system configurations and software solutions.

• Conduct validation, testing, and training workshops with client engineering teams.

• Collaborate with Hype’s product and development teams to enhance fiber optic modules in CablePRO.

• Prepare technical documentation, design reports, and presentations for customer engagements.

Requirements

• Master’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in fiber optic cable design, development, or manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of international standards (ITU-T, IEC, Telcordia, ISO/IEC, TSE, etc.).

• Deep understanding of fiber types (SM, MM), buffer tubes, strength members, jackets, and environmental performance.

• Hands-on experience with optical cable testing (attenuation, tensile, temperature, etc.).

• Ability to bridge between engineering knowledge and software applications.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Fluent in English (written and spoken) other language is an asset.

• Willingness to travel within India for client projects.
